Integrating IP-licensed applications onto a single device while maintaining strict security boundaries and monitoring network performance in the field.

The client required a way to wrap two separate IP-licensed telecom apps into a secured container. Beyond app integration, they needed a comprehensive field testing tool capable of loading KML paths onto Google Maps for drive tests, capturing critical Network KPIs in real-time, and detecting any deviation from the planned drive route to send automated alarms to the backend.

We architected a secure Android Wrapper application that seamlessly integrates licensed IP components while enforcing strict data isolation and security vulnerability testing protocols. This wrapper serves as the unified command center for field engineers.

The GIS module was implemented using advanced mapping libraries, allowing engineers to load complex KML spatial data directly onto the map. We developed a background service that captures real-time Network KPIs (like RSRP, RSRQ, SINR) and compares the device's live GPS coordinates against the pre-loaded KML path.

If the engineer deviates from the intended drive test route, the app triggers an instant auditory alarm and synchronizes the deviation event with the backend dashboard. This solution dramatically increased the accuracy of network drive tests and provided telecom providers with unprecedented visibility into field operations.
